"After seeing the huge amount of speculation about AMD step-codes and what they mean to overclockers we decided to bring some light on to the subject. We will draw our conclusions based on a database of over 1000 AMD CPUs,
their step code, and overclocked speeds. The database has been compiled over several months. This, we believe, is the most accurate manner in which to derive results and a basic understanding of the codes used by AMD."
