"pHaestus: I, like many others, have thought about building my own case. I gave up because I couldn't figure out how to make the bezel look professionally done and "polished". Did you have problems with this as well? How did you solve it?
Stiltner: Yeah I did, its difficult to make something that is both functional, and appealing to the eyes at the same time. Instead of the lattice in the front we originally started with the punched out circles that are common in fan filters on other PC's, that hole pattern inside the mounting holes. I didn't like the look, nor the cost, it was too ugly to warrant such a high cost to have it done that way. This route I think is more visually pleasing and makes it more affordable. None of the fan holes have that hole pattern you see common on cases. The holes are completely open to allow for the most possible airflow from those 120mm fans. It shows too in the end use, believe me, without that stuff there to hinder airflow you actually get less noise from restriction, and better more efficient use of your fans. "
