Pongmechanik is a
mechanical version of the classic Pong videogame. Instead of a computer
screen showing the paddles, little white dot and score, a mechanical assembly
whizes around. The distinctive Pong "pop" each time the ball hits a paddle is
reproduced with little noise boxes, and a mechanical relay computer controls the
game, and scoring.
If you're on an anti-digital Lomography kick, or just like the classics, you
have to check out the full video this German creator has made to show off
his Pongmechanik machine. The video has english subtitles, and is well
worth watching!!! Cool stuff.
