"The performance of the NIC was better than what I expected. All through the house, it seemed as though I was still physically attached to the network. Surfing speeds were not hampered in any way. The stepping of the NIC was such that unless you have a DS3 or greater, you would not notice any slow down until you got completely out of range of the card. "
