“We have had the Zalman ZM400-APF installed during a 3 week test period. The fan has never been activated to any level that we could detect. With the products installed from Zalman in this test box we have never heard a hard drive sound level as clear as these Maxtors. The Zalman ZM400 is undetectable in our test box. The Enermax was never a contender when it came to sound, even a whisper is now too loud.”
