For heavy commuters such as myself, I spend a lot of time in the car. During my commute, I wish I could check my email, look up directions, or access the wealth of information on the internet. I prefer not to use portable devices since they would require the usage of my hands and more attention than I could possibly give them. A great solution to my computing needs is to build a computer directly mounted into the car. The interface would be provided via touch-screen and voice methods that do not require much of my visual attention and driving concentration. Furthermore, I could eliminate a bulky PDA from my daily load.
