Zalman's TNN 500A Zero noise case is announced... availability remains to be seen. The computer chassis relies on multiple heat pipes to transfer all heat to the outside of the case, which act as large heatsinks. With the right components, the system offers Pentium 4 3.06GHz class machines a zero-noise environment. With no fans whatsoever, the only means for noise generation would come from the hard drive and CDrom which are mounted on noise isolating platforms. Cool stuff - but last I heard the suggested retail price was going be in the thousands.
