The EPSON Stylus Photo 890 is definitely not a speed demon, but the trade-off between slightly slower output speed and improved color image quality via the six-tank inkjet cartridge system and 2880 dpi output is worth it. Our Porsche, Fruit and Canyon test images were dazzling, but human skin tones were off slightly at automatic settings. The accompanying roll-paper printing option is useful, and the nifty EPSON BorderFree printing option for both sheet and roll-paper is great for those full-page photo print-outs that will be used for framing, placing in photo albums or hanging on the wall.
