The GA-6VXD7 is probably not the fastest dual processor motherboard around, but it is certainly a very stable motherboard to begin with. It is the only SMP capable motherboard that comes with the Dual BIOS safety feature that not only protects your investment, but it will also give you a peace of mind knowing that you can trust your mission critical work with it. Providing only very light overclocking features, this board is meant for the serious user who wants only reliability and stability. The lack of an on-board IDE RAID controller puts this board at a disadvantage, especially when you compare it with other feature rich boards available today. However, if you only want the bare necessities, the GA-6VXD7 is worth the consideration.
