"Most of us today are getting away from then normal and boring off-white computer and peripherals. Antec along with many others case manufactures have started producing cases of various styles and colors, also the materials used to constructing the case. The Sonata case is using steel for this case as its objective is a quiet pc , and it is a fairly heavy case, especially compared to my aluminum lian-li pc 68. I believe the material selected is to help in regards to noise, also in keeping the costs down. "
