"Not only does it compliment the IRMan really well, but I can see two other distinct markets for these remotes. Firstly, some couches/dogs/kids tend to eat/hide remotes, leaving you to actually have to get up and manually press the buttons. I've actually got mine setup to control the VCR, having lost my original remote, and it covers the basic functions fine. I may not have control over the more difficult functions, but it's better than paying AU$90+ that they wanted for the replacement one!"
