"The Rev. 2 was great for it's time, but overclockers wanted more. They wanted to keep the CAS 2 rating and crank up the RAM from the default 133 to other speeds in excess of that. Mushkin then began releasing the Rev. 3 module. This memory module is rated for CAS 2-2-2 at up to 150mhz. This is obviously quite a jump in performance. The Rev. 3 dimms are no longer Mosel Vitelic, but rather have moved
on to a Simiens Infineon chip base."
