"Installation is extremely easy. There is NO software to worry about nor any drivers. Just slap the unit into an open 5.25" bay and cable it up. One of the best features of this unit is that even though you're able to run three hard drives, you only need to use one (1) IDE connector on your motherboard. How? Well, because the trios itself acts like a mediator between the drives. Just plug one IDE cable into the motherboard (preferrably on your fastest port like an ata/100, etc) and then plug that into the Trios. Then connect the molex adapter (included) to your psu and then to the Trios. After that, ALL the other cables come out of the Trios and directly to the hard drive's themselves (up to 3 hard drives supported).T his setup allows the Trios (and you) to have total control over which hard drive your using at the present time."
