The highest max overclock we were able to achieve was 284MHz on the core and 581MHz on the memory. This was disappointing given that the other two Ti-4200s we tested we banging at least 310/610MHz. Chaintech offers some of their cards at "Special Editions." These versions are similar to the "Golden Samples" you hear about. I'm wondering if the chips are picked over with the best going to the "Special Editions" and the rest to the more inexpensive of the line.
