"The PowerDownProtector works flawlessly, but I don't really think it is a necessary product. If you are like me and just like to have cool gadgets, its worth buying and may in fact lengthen the life of your processor (and graphics card if you choose to connect it). What would be nice though, is to have a similar, more advanced unit, one that can connect to a rheobus and keep all case fans on as well as the CPU and Graphics card fan for X amount of time."
