"The inverter is similar to the inverters we have seen from Sunbeam. One small difference, is the control unit and the inverter are combined in this kit. Because of the wide range of use for this product, the inverter is black and can be placed just about anywhere. For this review, I mounted it on the back of my case with the double sided tape. This way I was able to turn it on and off with out having to open my case. I would have preferred the ability to mount it in a drive bay."
