The problem doesn’t lie the speaker but with your sound card. As the music is converted to analog to reach those speakers, the quality of the music is lost since the sound card has a slow sampling rate. Therefore, a new piece of hardware was created by Stereo-Link. The Model 1200(also SL1200) bypasses your soundcard and sends crisp clean music straight from your computer to a decent set of speakers that will do your music justice. The device even comes with a headphone jack for private listening, although the volume for the headphone jack is slightly hidden and takes a little time to find.
