Corsair clearly put quite a bit of effort into designing their XMS3000 modules. Each 256MB memory module is built around 8 32MB 6.0 nanosecond memory chips and the entire module is tested and verified to run 100% at 185MHz (370MHz DDR - effectively PC3000). When running at such high speeds, heat becomes an important issue again and Corsair thoughtfully includes a very nice aluminum heat spreader (or heatsink) to keep the memory module cool at all times.
