Over the past few years it has become popular to bring those USB ports and game ports to the front of your case. Many case manufacturers starting implementing front USB access for the comsumers. Before case manufacturers did this many people made their own home-made front USB ports which required lots of time to do. Then came FrontX (reviewed here), the popular unit that allowed users to bring their audio ports, game ports and usb ports to the front of their case via a 5.25" drive. As time went on they have improved the design and added features to the FrontX, one of which is the firewire port. In response to this Kingwin designed a similiar "multifunction transfer panel" named the Kingwin FPT-01S. The panel not only offered pretty much most of what FrontX offered, but also a LCD temperature sensor. Today we will look at the Kingwin FPT-01S and see what else it has to offer.
