Not too long ago SIS announced a new P4 chipset named the Sis645DX. This chipset is similar to the old Sis645 chipset announced around half a year ago but contained a few enhancements such as support for DDR333 and 533mhz FSB. After seeing some Sis645DX reference board reviews the performance was great and outperformed all P4 DDR chipsets. One noticeable addition was support for DDR400 which is contained in the BIOS, at these speeds memory benchmarks outperformed all competition even the old memory king Rambus. Just recently I went out and picked up the Asus P4S533 motherboard as soon as it came out so I could check out the performance first hand. Asus is the first to have a 645DX based motherboard in the market but don't be fooled they didn't leave out their trademark of great performance, great stability and lots and lots of useful and useless features. Let's have a look at the board's specs.
