One of Antec's "trademarks" is the use of a locking left door to stop thieves. It can of course be broken into (as with any case), but we're not reviewing a safe here. The idea is to prevent fast "incursions" to steal a card or something of that nature. The right door can be removed, but there's a metal plate blocking all components and getting at the 5.25" drives won't work either: you need to remove the front bezel for that, which only comes off when the left door is off. It's also incredibly handy for part swapping: it remains stationary so the use of rear screws is unnecessary.
