Basically, we thought the 2nd Generation AIBO still has plenty of room for improvement. The initial impression we had when we got it started (via Hello! AIBO) is that it walked too slowly, disjointedly and weakly. Naturally, it is very normal for us humans to have a natural tendency to compare it with a pet dog and be deeply surprised by the evolution gap (no offence to God or Sony ;). However, bear in mind that we are in the early stages of home consumer robotics and the ERS-210 is one of the very first made-to-market fully autonomous robot models in the world that could fully walk, play ball and grow without any outside intervention. If this isn't good enough for you, we don't know what is.
