Nintendo has really got a killer on their hands with the Game Boy Advance. Not only is it the next generation of the longest running, best selling game console of all time, it can play every single Game Boy and Game Boy Color game out there. And with over 700 games available, that's quite a software library to launch with. The Game Boy was officially launched in 1989 and became an instant hit with gamers, who had become addicted to Nintendo games thanks to the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). Games such as Super Mario Brothers and Tetris were ported to the Game Boy and became instant classics.
