"Matrox has always been known for one of the strongest 2D parts around. Some might still remember the days when a Matrox Millennium 2 and a Voodoo 1 was considered a killer gaming box. Matrox hasn't been known for excellent 3d ever since the arrival of the G200 to rival the TNT2. Sadly they fell behind with their 3d part, yet who knows maybe in the future that will change. Though, there is one area where they seem to be unbeatable as consumer boards, and that is as close to perfect 2d quality as you're going to get.
If you are looking for blinding fast 3d performance, then you might as well stop reading now, but if you're looking for a card that will satisfy your eye while working, or need the best dual head solution out there at the moment, this card's might just be for you. "
