"For years now consumers have been striving for hardware products that enhance realism. One technology that does precisely this and has been for several years now is Force Feedback. Now, going back to my childhood days where I played about playing games such as "War" or "Gangsters", I remember running about firing imaginary machine guns or Tommy-guns or whatever. Making the "prrpprprprprpp" sound with my mouth and shaking myself around to mimic the recoil effect. That's basically what Force Feedback technology does, it mimics the movement, such as a shake or rumble, that is seen on screen, creating a greater depth and a more realistic experience to the game."
