This article is devoted to testing the today's most popular platforms, namely: Intel Pentium 4 + RDRAM, Intel Pentium III + SDR SDRAM, AMD Athlon + SDR SDRAM and AMD Athlon + DDR SDRAM in one of the most widely spread graphics applications - Adobe Photoshop 6.0. We tried to figure out which platform could be regarded as the best choice for work with large images in this app.
