" For a cheap 17" monitor that also happens to have quality stamped all over it, I heartily recommend this monitor for all. Not only is it affordable, but it offers a much better feature set as compared to equivalent monitors in the same class. One such feature is its 0.23mm horizontal dot pitch.
Other non-flat screen monitors from manufacturers such as LG and Likom all have 0.27mm to 0.28mm horizintal dot pitch. Another is its much lower pricing. I managed to obtain this unit from MyPC, Low Yat Plaza for RM 540 (USD 142) , whereas the LG Studioworks 17" monitor was going for about RM 580 (USD 152). Another good point is the detailed documentation, both in booklet form and also a HTML-based manual on the Driver CD. Not many manufacturers provide drivers for Linux users too, so that would be another plus. I don't use Linux, but i'm sure it would be very useful in case I decide to go the way of the Penguin. "
