The 7VAXP was an impressive motherboard for the AMD Athlon XP processor however sporting the KT400 chipset did not do all that much to help it overcome previous KT333 boards. When running DDR400 the 7VAXP really struggled to show any signs of improvement over its DDR333 configuration. EPoX continued to bring the heat with the 8K5A2+ motherboard as it was often seen out performing the 7VAXP. While the 7VAXP did have a great deal of impressive aspects, it did also have its fair share of problems.
