"With this case you have two choices really, either to use the clear window so you can see the inside of your case or leave the aluminum plate in place.
You can also remove the window itself, this is very easily done and they allow you to do this so you can for an example maybe mod the window itself like add a fan or even replace the window itself if you don't like the black lines on it.
All this is easily done since both the window and the aluminum backing is attached using four securings for the window and four for the aluminum plate."
