With the sheer amount of technical data available on the web I did find it difficult to just know where to begin. There was so much of it on product choices, security, configuration, speed issues, and, of course, the jargon. Truthfully I just wanted to bring it home and not have to take night classes in order to make it work. I also wanted certain features to provide peace of mind. So I contacted SMC Networks, the manufacturer of the equipment I bought, and started asking questions. Remember that I had already purchased the equipment and set it up prior.
