Encouraged by the strong demand, graphics card manufacturers Prolink Microsystems, Leadtek and CP Technology all saw better-than-expected sales in December. Overall, Prolink performed best with its December revenues ranking second in the company’s history.
With more Nvidia chips coming in at the end of last month, Prolink exceeded its original sales target and raised its 2001 forecast. It then even surpassed the revised target, ending the year with full-year revenues of NT$3.354 billion.
Leadtek also enjoyed higher-than-projected revenues in December but achieved only 86.5% of its 2001 target. However, the company attained its full-year profit goal by November.
