Microstar is one of the first motherboard manufactures basing a motherboard on nVidia’s new chipset, nForce. For a long time, Microstar has been known for their cheap motherboards that perform well and stable too. The question is whether Microstar has managed to give this new motherboard the same reputation or not, even though it’s their first time using the nForce chipset.
We must not forget the groovy features this motherboard offers. The integrated net adapter works properly and the driver is included in nVidia’s reference drivers, it don’t get much easier. What goes for the sound I can only say that it’s an outstanding feature with possibility for SPDIF, as this gives much better sound than the cheap solutions, used on so many motherboards. However the integrated graphics accelerator is a disgrace to the motherboard, a more powerful one would make it the perfect gaming platform.
