Zeus Modded Case Review - FrostyTech.com Zeus Modded Case Review
Sun Jan 20, 2002 | 1:52P| PermaLink
Just like the Noblesse, the Zeus features an internal 3.5" rack that begins where the 5.25" ends and extends all the way to the bottom of the case. This is a very effective solution and improves the case in several ways. Most obviously it provides more bays. On a less apparent note, have a continuous rack increases the strength of the case as it creates a pair of support beams from the top down. It also eliminates the laborious task of creating an effective and possibly removable 3.5" rack that was so common on older cases and is still used by some newer ones. Unfortunately the Zeus doesn't have any drive retention mechanisms so you're forced to screw in drives from both sides. But what can you expect from a case with so much for so little?
