“The first thing you'll want to do is determine the precise location that you want to mount the fan. On the inside of the panel, find your center point and mark it. Then take the trim ring and trace the inside edge of the ring with a pencil. Also, mark the position of the screw holes that we'll use to mount the ring. Use your power tools to cut out the air hole and drill out the holes for the screws. Be sure to wear protective goggles or glasses to shield your eyes from any flying metal debris.
