"The board can work with six memory banks and 3Gb of system memory which is a clear advantage over Intel 845D. Quite interesting, most 645 motherboard manuals do not specify whether or not the chipset is able to work with registered modules. After checking the SiS website we discovered that the chipset supports officially only unbuffered memory. But we wanted to see if the board post with registered memory. Well, it did and worked very well but P4SAD didn't boot with a 2.0CL in 266Mhz operation. Unfortunately we didn't have any 333Mhz registered modules to try more."
