Yes, this is somewhat unusual. With our readership being primarily computing hobbyists, Intel Desktop series mainboards arent exactly a topic of common conversation. Be that as it may, Intel mainboards end up in quite a number of OEM systems, and they are quite popular among the server and rackmountgeek crowd.
While not sporting ANY overclocker friendly features whatsoever, Intel certainly can make decent, rugged boards for their processor platforms (i.e. motivated self interest, and knowledge of their architectures).
