"When the GameCube hits stores this fall, it's not only going up against the PS2 and Xbox but against itself with GameBoy Advanced. It's true! Nintendo has had to rely on the awesome sales of the Gameboy Color to pick up the
lack of sales on the N64's behalf. When Nintendo went with a cartridge system it doomed itself because of higher costs and let Sony slip by and steal the show. Now Nintendo has, for the first time, has had to play catch up to become number one again. But it won't be easy."
