"Another nice feature on this board is that it has two CPU fan headers. This is great for those of you who have two fan heatsinks. You also get one chassis fan header and one chip fan header. The AK76-SN has incorporated some
new CPU protection features of DFI. First of which to speak of is called "Thermal Guardian." What this does is once a processor reaches a certain user definable temperature, the motherboard will automatically shut down your system preventing any damage from occurring. I recommend that you leave this feature on, because it can save your life. The next function to talk about is called "Fan Guardian." The system will again shut down automatically if the heatsink fan ever drops below a certain RPM. This keeps the processor from overheating. Each of these functions can be disabled in the BIOS if you like."
