"Dubbed nForce, NVIDIA's chipset is laid out in two parts: a north bridge referred to as the Integrated Graphics Processor (ICP), and a south bridge called the Media and Communications Processor (MCP). Although similar to competitive chipsets from AMD, VIA, SiS, and ALi, NVIDIA's nForce incorporates additional technologies to its product, making it a standout with potential to lead the Athlon in its battle against Intel's Pentium 4."
