Before making such a crucial switchover there always must be time to consider the chances of not enjoying a nice new interface. Thinking of what substitutes to use for your system for Linux to replace all of the programs you use in Windows. I've chosen to switch to Linux Mandrake. It just looked like a nice and friendly Linux for newbies such as I. Firstly, with Linux, you can choose to get a version which uses the same FAT partition you use for Windows, or you can use the Linux partitions. With Linux Mandrake, you can use Lnx4Win to use the same FAT partition as Windows. You can also take a nice stroll through what you can look for towards Linux at their Demo of it.
