just right at the same time Intel launches its 2GHz Pentium 4, we present you our first Pentium 4 review (actually our first Intel- related review in months ;-) in its glowing glory. And we do have something special to offer :-)
Well, instead of just doing some simple benchmarking jobs and report that the 2GHz model scores X percent higher than its elder and lower-clocked siblings, we went through all the troubles and started with Pentium 4's technique, how it differentiates from older Intel processors, and how it would perform theoretically. Of course we wouldn't just stop here. We let our engineering sample race against another Pentium 4 processor clocked at 1.8GHz, an Athlon
Thunderbird clocked at 1 and 1.4GHz and also a Pentium III processor clocked at 1GHz.
