"We've all seen RAM plummet to the floor this past year. There have been jokes of RAM starting to be tacked on to your favorite magazine! Well, as cheap as it is now, 256 megs is still gonna cost 'ya a few hours work (unless you make $100/hour). So, if you are going to spend 4 hours of wages on a generic piece of RAM, is it worth it to put in 5 hours for some quality RAM? Will that 1 extra hour buy you months of computing bliss? That's what I intend to find out.
I've scoured the deals forums at various sites and have gathered 3 of the most talked about sticks of SDRAM: generic RAM, OCZ's pretested RAM, and Crucial's PC133 CAS2 RAM. Let's round 'em up boys! YEE HAH!"
