The Vx and m505 are different in other ways also. For instance, the m505 uses a 33MHz Dragonball VZ while the Vx uses a 20MHz Dragonball VZ processor. Also, the Vx runs PalmOS 3.5 and the m505 uses PalmOS 4.0, which adds support for 16-bit color, better data entry options, silent alarms (vibrate and visual), wireless Internet and email access and enhanced security features. The case is also slightly different, as shown above. The m505 has a slight flare at the top of the device which makes for more comfortable holding in, well, your palm. In fact, it downright fits in your palm like a glove, no puns intended.
