This week also Intel gave a new surprise to the industry after launching up the very first processor chip running at 2.0 Ghz clock speed. AMD fans doesn't need to be dried too much, however. AMD's next and upcoming Athlon, codenamed Palomino, supports hardware prefetch and the SSE instruction set.
