While most video card manufactures spend their budget on giving gamers higher FPS, Matrox is spending theirs on innovation. Matrox was the first with the DualHead, and now they are the first to offer a video-confrencing solution to users with low-speed internet access. We'll take a look at all the features that the G550 has to offer, so that we can see if the G550 is the right card for you. One thing is for sure: Matrox means innovation, and this is especially the case with their Millennium G550 video card. Keep in mind throughout this review that the Matrox G550, unlike most video cards, is not a gaming card, and we've reviewed it accordingly. If your sole purpose of buying a video card is so that you can play the latest and greatest intense 3D games, then stop reading now. This card will not fit your purpose.
