VR-Zone has posted a review on the Intel 845 chipset and i have compared it to the Intel 850. The large difference in the peak memory bandwidth offered by the i850 with 3.2GB/s and the i845 with 1.06GB/s will surely impact the performance but the i845 has some new improvements such as 12 levels IOQ and 24 simultaneous open pages. I have used the Intel D845HV desktop board and compared to the ABIT TH7II-RAID board.
