"The SiS 315 chip is manufactured on a 0.15 micron BGA package, and utilizes a 256-bit architecture. Memory is still connected via a 128-bit data path, achieving 2.7GB/s of throughput bandwidth. The core is clocked at 166MHz (symmetrical with memory), but out test card was clocked as 182MHz, or at least that's what the driver panel indicated. Perhaps this is a well-known strategy by the manufacturer, to boost those FPS's up for our review."
