The monitor also comes with built in speakers so you don't will not have to hook up additional speakers to it to watch TV, but it does have a line out if you would like to use external speakers or hook it up to your home stereo. It also has a headphones jack in that back. If you would like to use the speakers as your computer speakers there is a line in for that. As well there are Left-Right RCA audio inputs on the back for hooking up things such as a DVD player.
