First Impressions The packaging was excellent. Each drive (we received 2 of them) was individually packaged, in your standard 11"x6"x5" box, with the standard hard drive foam housing the hard drive to ensure no damage during shipping. If Maxtor's specs on these drives are true, Then the shipping company would have to toss these drives around quite a bit to harm them. Maxtor's Spec Sheet is claiming a 300g's (YES!!! 300g's when not operating!) of force is needed to harm these puppies.
