One thing that I liked about the drive is the insertion/removal time. It's really annoying when you're swapping CDs and it takes 10+ seconds for your drive to slow down and eventually pop open the tray with the utmost delicacy (and lack of speed). The Lite-On is the opposite, as it comes to a halt pretty quickly and opens/closes relatively fast as well.
